Privacy Policy — IronLog: Workout Tracker

Last updated: June 7, 2026

1. Overview

IronLog: Workout Tracker (“the App”) is developed and operated by Soheyb Alouach (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the App, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information on our own servers. The App runs entirely on your device.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information stored locally on your device

The App stores the following data exclusively on your device using a local SQLite database:

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

2.2 Information collected by third-party services

The App integrates third-party services that may collect data independently. We do not control this data collection.

3. Third-Party Services

3.1 Google AdMob

The free version of the App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC). AdMob may collect and use the following information to serve personalized or non-personalized ads:

We have configured AdMob to request user consent where required (GDPR). Users in applicable regions will be shown a consent form before ads are served.

For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses data from apps.

Opt-out: You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time in your device settings:
Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

3.2 Google Play Billing (In-App Purchases)

The App offers a one-time in-app purchase (“IronLog Premium”) to unlock additional features and remove advertisements. This purchase is processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment information. All billing data is governed by Google Play’s Terms of Service.

3.3 wger Workout Manager (Exercise Library)

The App optionally syncs exercise data from the open-source wger Workout Manager API (wger.de) to enrich the exercise library with descriptions and images. No personal data is sent to this service — only anonymous requests for exercise catalog data.

4. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

5. Notifications

The App may send local push notifications to remind you of scheduled workouts or to alert you when your training streak is at risk. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and do not involve any external server. You can disable them at any time in your device settings.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly target children under the age of 13. If you believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps. The App’s ad serving complies with Google’s Families Policy.

7. Data Retention

Since all workout and personal data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by uninstalling the App. We retain no data on our end.

8. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Since we do not collect personal data directly, any requests related to data processed by Google AdMob or Google Play should be directed to Google. For any other inquiries, contact us at the address below.

9. Security

We apply industry-standard practices to protect locally stored data. Because we do not transmit your data to external servers, the risk of data breach is minimal.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
