IronLog: Workout Tracker (“the App”) is developed and operated by Soheyb Alouach (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled when you use the App and your rights regarding that information.
The App is built local-first: it contains no advertising SDK, no account system, and no server of ours. Your training data lives on your device, and nowhere else. The only data we receive are feature-level usage statistics (see section 3.3), which you can disable — never the content of your workouts.
The App stores the following data exclusively on your device, in a local SQLite database:
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it (see Section 4).
The App offers optional premium purchases. Payments are processed entirely by Google Play (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS). We do not receive or store your payment information. Billing data is governed by Google Play’s Terms of Service and Apple’s Media Services Terms.
The App optionally fetches exercise data from the open-source wger Workout Manager API (wger.de) to enrich the exercise library with descriptions and images. Only anonymous catalog requests are made — no personal data is sent to this service.
Since version 4.3, the App uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand which features are used. This collects usage milestones only (for example: “a workout was saved”, “the coach tab was opened”) together with device-level identifiers assigned by Firebase, device model, and country. It never collects the content of your training: no exercises, no weights, no reps, no body measurements, no personal records — none of your training data ever leaves your device.
You can turn analytics off at any time in Settings → Usage statistics. When disabled, nothing is sent. Firebase processing is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
You can export your data at any time (JSON backup or CSV) from the App’s settings. Exports are generated on your device and shared only through the share destination you choose (e.g. your own cloud drive, email, or files app). We never receive a copy.
We do not collect:
The App may send local notifications to remind you of scheduled workouts. These are scheduled entirely on your device and involve no external server. You can disable them at any time in the App or your device settings.
The App does not knowingly target children under the age of 13. Usage statistics (section 3.3) are the only data collected, and they contain no personal content.
All training data is stored locally on your device. You can delete it at any time from the App’s settings or by uninstalling the App. Usage statistics (section 3.3) are retained by Firebase Analytics for up to 14 months.
Your training data lives on your device — you hold it directly. For usage statistics (section 3.3), you can stop collection at any time in Settings, and you may request deletion of analytics data by contacting us at the address below. Requests related to billing data should be directed to Google or Apple.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
